When you create an account on PropTools, we collect your email address and any display name you provide. When you use our services, we store data you explicitly enter — including tracked accounts, trade journal entries, and expense records. We do not collect any trading data from your brokerage or prop firm accounts.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to provide the PropTools service — to display your dashboard, calculate payouts, and maintain your journal. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Aggregated anonymized data may be used for product improvements.
3. Data Storage
Currently, all user data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This means your data never leaves your device. When we introduce cloud sync, data will be stored securely on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit.
4. Cookies
PropTools uses minimal cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@proptools.io. You can also clear your browser's localStorage to remove all locally stored PropTools data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
